Congrats to Gather's newest client.....MY LITTLE SISTER

My little sister, Hannon, is now engaged!! Her fiance, Cameron, has a love for flying planes so when he decided it was time to pop the question, he had a plan!

It was a beautiful morning, so they jumped in the plane and headed to see my mom at the lake. Little did Hannon know, my mom was not alone! The entire family of these two love birds were anxiously waiting in the hanger!

We all gathered around a radio as Cameron called in his position to Willow Point traffic control. After he landed, he taxied back down the runway and came to a stop .........
and the rest is history!

Many thanks to Ashley Zeiger for capturing the moment and best wishes to Hannon and Cam!

A Gather Christmas!

I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I hope that is has been all that you dreamed it would be!

For some of you that may mean a little BLING, BLING! If you are newly engaged, please give me a call for your wedding planning or coordinating needs. The 2011 calendar is filling up fast, but we still have weekends open! We are offering a $100 visa gift card to the first 5 brides that sign up between now and the end of January!

For those of you having a Christmas gathering at your house tonight, it is not too late to whip together some last minute decor.

Gather's modern version of a Christmas Tree.....made with thing I found in my garage last night.

Items Need: Manzanita branches, curly willow, red berry branches (forgot the real name), fake green berry branches I bought 5 years ago (they had so much dust on them, I had to wash them before I could use them :)) and Christmas balls made by participants at The Exceptional Foundation.

Items Needed: A paper white (my all time favorite Christmas plant), a big serving bowl you have sitting around, raindeer moss and organic looking balls bought from At Home years ago and never used.

Don't get discouraged...I do have the advantage of having left over flowers, vases and trees from the dozen events I had in the last 10 days.

An engagement to remember!

I was recently hired by a fun and creative couple to help plan their fall wedding. When the prospective groom began thinking about how he would propose to his high school sweetheart he knew he wanted it to be special and something that she would always remember. The groom enlisted his friend, Caleb Chancey an amazing local photographer, for help.

Once upon a time....
....there was a beautiful barn they called Swan Lake....

....a romantic breakfast set for two....

.....a boy and his one true love....

.....a question she had been longing to hear.....

....and an answer, he knew not to fear!

The ring was all she had dreamed.....

....which made him beam!

With a barn so unique and the land so perfect...

....the happy couple has decided they would visit Swan Lake again.....

....on October 9, 2010!

We have begun planning the "Anthropology" style wedding (yes, think the store). Stay tuned...it will be something you do not want to miss!
Besure to check out Caleb's website for more info on his work!
Happy Planning!
