Hannon's Wedding on Snippet and Ink

Last week we were so honored to have Hannon and Cameron's wedding featured on Snippet and Ink. Click here to check out the post.

Here are some of the details Hannon shared to Snippet and Ink...

Why did you choose this location for your wedding?  Lake Martin is a special place for Cameron and me. My family has a lake home there and I grew up going there on weekends and Cameron is an avid outdoors man so the natural setting was a perfect fit for him.
What was your favorite moment or part of the day?  I have so many favorite moments from the wedding reception.  I normally steer away from the spotlight, but when you’re a bride the only option you have is to embrace it. So, finding myself on stage with my bridesmaids, sisters, and nieces dancing with tambourines was such a fun moment. My favorite part of the day has to be afternoon spent relaxing at my lake house with family and friends. It was such a blessing to be able to sit and enjoy the excitement with those loved ones I don’t get to see often.
What was the best advice you received as a bride? What advice do you have for other brides?  The best advice I received as a bride was to slow down and take the day in because everything happens so fast, and before you know it the night is over. My advice for other brides is to hire a wedding planner. I lucked out because my sister owns a wedding planning business, Mariee Ami. Having a wedding planner to keep up with all of the details allowed me to actually enjoy the planning process!

Mariée Ami Real Wedding: Ashley & Jonathan Mitchell

Ashley Mitchener and Jonathan Mitchell were married on November 5, 2011 at Lake Martin. The wedding ceremony was held at the Our Children's Harbor Chapel which is one of my favorite places (one of my sisters was married there). It is a tiny little white chapel overlooking Lake Martin. The reception was held at Springhouse Restaurant. If you are a regular reader of the blog, Springhouse is about is good as it gets!!

Ashley was a perfect bride. She was laid back, knew what she wanted and was an absolute pleasure to work with.

The Hank Williams Cabin, otherwise known as the "bride's hut" in my mind, is located 100 yards from the chapel. The bridesmaids all spent the night in the "hut" on Friday night enjoying laughs and a little lingerie.

Ashley decided to go with soft fall colors. I the autumn orange and deep reds were accented with a sage green and soft peach. It was a perfect color palette!

The bridesmaids all wore different nude dresses except for Ashley's two sisters who were in peach.

Ashley wore a super cute lacy dress for her grand exit.
Absolutely Stunning!
